They were absolutely delicious (that dollup of meringue!!) and the pop of green was so fun!

In others words: “Eat desert first”. The pièce de ré·sis·tance usually signifies the main course, but in my life, desert is the most important part of the meal. I set the Key Lime Pie as my macaron meal desert and I was not disappointed. Here is the thing about Key Lime Pie. I love it. But I am often disappointed by what is passed off as such. If you worry about filling up before desert or worse, missing it because of something minor, like death, then eat desert first. Just make sure you try the Key Lime Macaron before it is too late.
